Whenever you live together as a couple in any of the GCC countries (UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, KSA) by law you used to need to be married. Nowadays it’s not a requirement anymore but to be able to provide a spouse residence visa for your partner you still need to be officially married.

2. Get a marriage license to have a baby

Another option to be married is for couples that are planning to have a baby. Once again it is forbidden by law to give birth without being married.

If you want to live with your partner, if you want to have a child, you will be requested to get a wedding certificate.

Why getting your marriage license in Seychelles?

Seychelles is a beautiful country. And what is more important, getting a wedding certificate is really easy there. So not only it is just a little over four hours by plane away, not only it is gorgeous and visa free, it also doesn’t have the crazy paperwork that can be so tiring and exhausting to deal with. You will only need your passport and a little bit of help from our side with translation and legalization.

Generally speaking if you have your future spouse with you, your passport and a plane ticket – you can be married.
