Pre-wedding requisites for Seychelles Wedding UAE Expat

Getting married in Seychelles is way easier than one can imagine with our assistance. However, it is important to note here that sooner the formalities and bookings are completed, the better it is, e.g.

1.         Flight tickets and hotel bookings should be done well in advance to avoid high costs associated with short notice bookings.

2.         Application for entry to Seychelles should be submitted along with the PCR test, done not earlier that 72 hours before the flight (we will provide the link for the same)

3.         All the necessary documents (passport copies of both partners, birth certificate/affidavit in absence of birth certificate, civil marriage registration form etc.) should be filled 12 days before the wedding (we shall submit the documents on your behalf) to avoid late submission fees of 50 Euros.

How long will it take to get married in Seychelles for UAE Expats?

The wedding procedure in Seychelles will be completed within 30 minutes with our help. Seychelles saves you the time of visiting registry offices to sign your wedding certificate. The Registrar arrives at the wedding venue for you to sign your wedding certificate, thus saving you all the time to celebrate your big moment of life.

However, it is important to observe that 72 hours before boarding the flight from Seychelles to UAE, you need to repeat the PCR test hence requiring your minimum stay in Seychelles to be at least 2 nights and 3 days.

How long will it take to get the wedding certificate in Seychelles for UAE Expats?

The wedding certificate will be made available within 2-3 days. After signing the wedding certificate at the wedding venue, it will have to be attested by the UAE embassy in Seychelles. Don’t get stressed, we will get this done for you. If you are still in Seychelles, the wedding certificate will be handed over to you. If you have already left Seychelles, the attested certificate will be shipped to you. In general it takes around 10 days from the wedding date to receive your wedding certificate.

The wedding certificate will be valid in UAE once it is registered with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE.
