How will foreigners get their wedding certificate?

Getting a wedding certificate in Seychelles is not at all difficult as we are there to assist you with the procedures. After signing the wedding certificate at the wedding venue, it will take 2-3 days to get it stamped from the relative embassy (e.g. for the UAE residents from UAE embassy).

The wedding certificate is also Apostille stamped hence it is acceptable by Apostille member nations. Though, if you want the wedding to be registered in your home country, you might have a country specific requirement of notifying the nearest embassy of that country (e.g. For Philippines, Italy, Spain etc).

Also note, the French nationals are required to file an application with French Embassy in Mauritius before the marriage and follow the procedure outlined by French authorities.

The wedding certificate from Seychelles is valid worldwide after legalization from the respective embassy or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After tying the knot, if you are in Seychelles, we will hand over the wedding certificate with Apostille to you and in case you have left Seychelles, it will be shipped to you.
